The company management has now decided to introduce its Initial Public Offering in February 2022.

The DRHP filed by Madhavbaug discloses that the issue size of the Madhavbaug IPO would be 2,71,200 equity shares worth ₹ 20.23 at a price of ₹73 per equity share. Objects of Issue

The objects of the issue as per the DRHP of Madhavbaug IPO is stated as follows:

  • A total of ₹ 16 Cr is proposed to be utilized for the Marketing and Brand promotion of the company;
  • A sum of around ₹ 3.7 Cr is proposed to be utilized for general corporate purposes of the company;
  • Lastly, a sum of ₹ 50 lakhs would be used for the issue-related expenses.

Promoters and their shareholding

Madhavbaug has a single individual promoter Dr. Rohit Madhav Sane and has a current holding of about 90% in the company. With the proposed IPO the shareholding of Dr. Rohit will reduce to about 66% in the company. 

Fundamentals

As per the financial reports issued by the company, the revenue of the company has shown a rise of about 45% from ₹522 Cr in FY20 to ₹752 Cr in FY21. Following the same trend in the profits, the company converted itself from a loss-making company to a profit-making company with a rise from a loss of ₹5.5 Cr in FY20 to a profit of ₹15.5 Cr in FY21.
